The Old Way

At Gaya Wellness

Our Treatments Treatments

Our top rated functional medicine providers are proud to offer a truly integrative approach to whole body wellness.

How It Works Works

Getting care at Gaya Wellness isn’t complicated and it definitely isn’t the rushed, dismissive healthcare you may be used to. We designed our process to be clear, empowering, and (dare we say) actually enjoyable.

Tell Us Your Story

This isn’t a five-minute “check the box” appointment. We actually want to hear it all—your symptoms, your struggles, your history, and your goals. Whether it’s mood swings, stubborn weight, fertility frustrations, or “I just don’t feel like myself,” nothing is “too small” or “just in your head.” Your experience matters, and this is where we start.

Get the Right Tests

We don’t guess—we test. Depending on your needs, this might mean:

  • Hormone panels (estrogen, progesterone, thyroid, cortisol, insulin, testosterone)
  • Comprehensive bloodwork to check nutrients, metabolism, and inflammation
  • Ultrasounds or imaging if pelvic pain, cysts, or cycle issues are suspected
  • Specialized diagnostics for fertility, thyroid, or adrenal concerns

Because knowledge is power—and you deserve answers, not assumptions.

Receive Your Personalized Plan

Here’s where the magic happens. Once we understand your biology, we design a plan that actually fits your life. This may include:

  • Hormone balancing therapies (when needed)
  • Nutrition & lifestyle strategies that are realistic (no fad diets or guilt trips here)
  • Supplements & integrative care to fill in the gaps and support balance
  • Mind-body support for stress, sleep, and mental wellness
  • Fertility or sexual health plans tailored to your goals

Think of it as your body’s roadmap to balance—clear, actionable, and completely customized.

Ongoing Support

Your body changes, your life changes—and your plan should, too. That’s why we offer:

  • Regular virtual check-ins to monitor progress and make adjustments
  • On-demand messaging for questions that come up between visits
  • Long-term guidance so you don’t just feel better for a month—you thrive for the long haul

Because real wellness isn’t a quick fix. It’s a journey—and we’re walking it with you.

Why Women Love How We Work
  • Convenience: Virtual-first care that fits your life
  • Compassion: We listen. We validate. We believe you.
  • Clarity: No jargon, no BS—just straight talk you can actually understand
  • Confidence: You’ll finally know what’s going on in your body, and how to fix it

At Gaya Wellness, care isn’t about slapping on a band-aid. It’s about uncovering the root cause, restoring balance, and helping you feel vibrant, confident, and in control again.

Conditions We Treat Treat

Rediscover your inner strength and energy with our expert-backed wellness approach. Whether you’re feeling drained, stressed, or out of balance, we’re here to help you recharge. Experience renewed focus, better health, & a more vibrant lifestyle.

Stubborn Wight Gain

Stubborn weight gain refers to the pounds that just won’t move, no matter how many spin classes you crush or green juices you drink. It’s not just about “calories in, calories out” — your body is a complex system influenced by hormones, stress, sleep, and even your gut microbiome.

Perimenopause

Perimenopause is the transition period leading up to menopause, when your hormone levels—especially estrogen and progesterone—begin to fluctuate. It usually starts in your 40s (sometimes earlier) and can last several years until your body officially reaches menopause.

Menopause

Menopause is officially reached when you’ve gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period—most often between ages 45 and 55, with the average around 51. It happens as the ovaries stop releasing eggs and estrogen and progesterone production naturally decline.

Hot Flashes

A hot flash is a sudden, intense wave of heat that typically starts in the chest and face, then spreads through the body. It often comes with sweating, flushing, and a rapid heartbeat—and can last from a few seconds to several minutes.

Night Sweats

Night sweats are episodes of excessive sweating during sleep that soak your pajamas and sheets. They’re not just about room temperature—if you’re waking up drenched, even in a cool environment, your body’s internal thermostat is the culprit.

Mood Swings

Mood swings are rapid, intense shifts in how you feel—one minute you’re fine, and the next, you’re snapping at everyone or feeling like you’re crashing emotionally. It’s not you losing your cool—it’s your body’s signals going haywire.

PCOS

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder where the ovaries produce excess androgens (male hormones), which disrupts normal ovulation. It’s often associated with multiple small follicles on the ovaries (hence the “polycystic” name), but you don’t need visible cysts to have PCOS.

Hormonal Imbalance

A hormonal imbalance happens when your body produces too much or too little of certain hormones. Because hormones act like chemical messengers that control major functions, even a small disruption can throw multiple systems off course.

Difficulty Conceiving

“Difficulty conceiving” refers to challenges getting pregnant despite regular, unprotected sex for a year (or six months if you’re over 35). Fertility is a complex dance between hormones, ovulation, egg quality, sperm health, and timing. When one piece is off, conception can take longer than expected.

Frequently Asked Questions Questions

At Gaya Wellness, we don’t believe in sugarcoating—or drowning you in jargon. Here are the answers to the questions we get asked the most, served up with clarity, compassion, and just a little sass.
1. What type of providers will I be scheduling a consultation with?

Gaya Wellness PLLC takes great pride in employing only top-rated and board-certified physicians. The Gaya Standard is pretty high. You can rest assured that the physicians on our platform are super advocates for their patients and committed to their empowerment. Not only that, but we also have high standards for the local partners we select to work with and market their practice on GAYA Wellness.

You bet we are. We practice the utmost care with your medical record and billing information. We have safeguards to prevent a system breach and regularly conduct compliance training for our employees to ensure your privacy.
It is no longer recommended that a “ Routine Pelvic Exam” be taken annually. A woman still needs to have routine pap smears- but even that is only done every 3-5 years. Of course, there will always be exceptions. When you need an in-person visit for pap smears or a specific problem, we will arrange for you to see one of our trusted local partners who meets the vigorous GAYA Quality and Comfort standards.
We currently accept all Employer HSA/FSA plans not to limit our clients by their insurance Carrier. We are also within the network for Aetna and Cigna, and you may submit your invoice to get reimbursed directly if you have this insurance. We are working diligently towards accepting most insurance carriers and conducting our direct billing soon.
YES! Every service we offer can be paid for using these options.
Gaya Wellness PLLC does not guarantee prescriptions. It is up to the doctor to recommend the best treatment. Our doctors do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by the DEA, non-therapeutic, and/or certain other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse.
You should not use Gaya Wellness if you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911.

Welcome to 90% of our patients. “Normal labs” don’t mean optimal health. We look deeper—comprehensive panels, advanced testing, and most importantly, your actual experience. If you don’t feel like yourself, there’s a reason. Our job is to find it.

Simple: you meet with your provider online, from anywhere. We handle the testing (we’ll order labs and imaging you can complete locally), review your results, and create a personalized plan. You still get expert, compassionate care—without the waiting rooms or awkward paper gowns.

Yes. When medications or hormone therapies are appropriate, we prescribe them. But we don’t stop there—we combine prescriptions with lifestyle, nutrition, and integrative support so your plan works on every level.

We cover the full spectrum of women’s health, including:

  • Hormonal imbalances (thyroid, estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, insulin)
  • PCOS, perimenopause, and menopause
  • Fertility and preconception planning
  • Postpartum recovery and breastfeeding support
  • Pelvic pain, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids
  • Sexual health (low libido, dryness, pain)
  • UTIs, infections, and urgent care needs

If it impacts your body, mood, hormones, or confidence—it’s on our list.

Yes—some exams (like Pap smears and certain imaging) must be done in person. Think of us as your ongoing care partner who handles the day-to-day, root cause, whole-woman health, while your in-person gynecologist covers the procedures we can’t do virtually.

Easy. We’ll order the labs and imaging you need at a local facility near you. Once results are in, we break everything down in plain English (no confusing medical mumbo-jumbo), and use them to build your care plan.

Absolutely. This is one of our specialties. From hot flashes and night sweats to mood swings, brain fog, and low libido—we’ve got solutions that combine science, hormone support, and lifestyle strategies.

We specialize in women’s health—period. That means our care is designed for women, by women’s health experts. It’s not generic medicine—it’s health care tailored to your biology, hormones, and life stages.
